Every donation brings Scotland’s first Wish Ambulance service closer.
Our purpose
For many people approaching the end of life, ordinary transport is no longer safe, comfortable or practical. A favourite coastline, family home, wedding, football ground, place of worship or final view can become unreachable.
Wish Ambulance Scotland aims to remove that barrier through safe, planned, dignified and compassionate Wish Journeys.
How it will work
A planned process, handled carefully.

Referral
A request will be made by a healthcare professional involved in the person’s care once referrals open.

Planning
We will consider safety, comfort, clinical needs and practical arrangements.

Journey
Trained volunteers will support the person and up to two companions during the Wish Journey.

Memory
The focus will be to help create a meaningful experience and lasting memories.
