We aim to provide people who are approaching the end of life with a clinically assisted Wish Journey, free of charge, to a place of meaning.

Before you donate

Wish Ambulance Scotland SCIO is a registered Scottish charity regulated by the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). Scottish Charity Number: SC055546. The service is still being developed and referrals are not yet open. Donations support the safe establishment and initial operation of the service rather than guaranteeing any particular Wish Journey.

We are not currently claiming Gift Aid on donations. We will update this information if that changes.

What funding supports

Practical costs behind meaningful moments.

  • Vehicle preparation, adaptation, maintenance and insurance.
  • Clinical equipment, ambulance supplies and consumables appropriate to the journeys we support.
  • Volunteer recruitment, training and support.
  • Fuel, journey costs and future service development.
  • Referral systems, governance, safeguarding and data protection.

First-stage campaign target

£25,000 is our first-stage launch target. It will contribute towards the practical work required to begin delivering Wish Journeys safely; it is not the full cost of developing a sustainable national service.
